Chapter 6: The Whispers of the Dark Elf
The Hollowed Span did not welcome travelers; it merely tolerated them until they made a mistake. As the Twin Embers sank below the craggy horizon, the temperature plummeted, and the grey fog thickened into an oppressive, swirling soup. Kaelen, ever the pragmatist, located a partially collapsed mausoleum of white stone that offered shelter from the biting, unnatural wind.
Inside, Kaelen built a small, smokeless fire using enchanted tinder from his pack. Robin sat on a spread of furs, his knees pulled to his chest. The encounter with the Wights had drained him, leaving his skin pale and his silver hair lacking its usual shimmering luster. To stay warm, he had mentally reached into his Infinite Wardrobe, summoning the "Hearth-Keeper’s Velvet Robe." It was a heavy, opulent gown of deep crimson, lined with impossibly soft white fur at the collar, cuffs, and hem. It wrapped tightly around his slender waist, though it naturally fell open at the legs, exposing his smooth, pale thighs to the firelight.
"You did well today," Kaelen rumbled, handing Robin a waterskin and a strip of dried meat. The mercenary sat heavily beside him, his massive presence a comforting anchor in the creeping dread of the ruins. "Your power is growing faster than I’ve ever seen. But the Span drains magic just by existing. You need to rest."
"I feel hollow," Robin admitted softly, leaning his head against Kaelen’s muscular shoulder. "When I used the light against the Wights... it felt like breathing out and not being able to breathe back in."
"You need to replenish," Kaelen murmured, his hand sliding down to rest heavily on Robin’s waist. His thumb stroked the velvet. The implication was clear, and Robin’s heart gave a familiar, submissive flutter. But before Kaelen could pull him into a kiss, the campfire’s orange flame violently flickered and turned a sickly, luminescent purple.
Kaelen was on his feet in a microsecond, his claymore drawn. "Show yourself!" he bellowed into the darkness of the mausoleum.
A soft, mocking laugh echoed from every corner of the room simultaneously. "A brute with a blade. How quaint. But a brute guarding a treasure of such exquisite, contradictory resonance... now that is fascinating."
From the solid shadows of the far wall, a figure stepped forward. He moved with a liquid, predatory grace that made even Thorne’s elven stealth look clumsy. He was a Dark Elf—an Umbraqui. His skin was the color of polished obsidian, a stark contrast to his long, braided hair that glowed like cold starlight. He was clad in armor made of midnight-blue scales that clung to his lean, highly defined musculature. His eyes were pools of molten violet.
Kaelen lunged, swinging the massive claymore with enough force to cleave a troll in half. But the Dark Elf didn't dodge. He simply raised a single, long-fingered hand. A burst of violet dust erupted in Kaelen’s face. The mercenary’s eyes rolled back, and he collapsed heavily to the stone floor, his sword clattering into the darkness.
"Kaelen!" Robin cried out, scrambling to his knees.
"He is merely asleep, little bird," the Dark Elf purred, stepping effortlessly over Kaelen’s massive form. "My name is Vaelith. And I have been tracking your scent since you crossed the border of the Weald. You smell of human iron, High Elven starlight... and an empty, aching vessel waiting to be filled."
Robin trembled. The fear was there, but beneath it, the Siphon in his soul was practically screaming with hunger. Vaelith’s magical aura was intoxicating—it was cold, sharp, and tasted of forbidden secrets and ancient power.
"What do you want?" Robin whispered, looking up at the towering elf through his thick lashes.
"To see if the rumors of the new Nexus are true," Vaelith murmured. He knelt before Robin, his violet eyes raking over the crimson velvet and the delicate, feminine curves hidden beneath. "And to leave my mark upon it."
As Vaelith reached out, Robin’s survival instinct—or perhaps his innate, erotic magic—took over. The heavy velvet robe vanished in a flurry of crimson petals. In its place, Robin summoned the "Widow’s Web Lingerie." It was an impossibly sheer, spider-silk bodysuit of translucent black netting that clung to his soft, androgynous body like a second skin. It plunged deeply at the chest, highlighting his smooth torso, and cut incredibly high on his hips, leaving the plump, heavy swell of his ass entirely bare save for a delicate string of black pearls that settled between his cheeks.
Vaelith’s breath hitched. For all his ancient composure, the sight of the submissive, breathtakingly beautiful boy offering himself in the dim light shattered the elf's restraint.
"Exquisite," Vaelith hissed, his hands grasping Robin’s wide hips. The contrast was staggering—the elf’s hands were dark as night, resting against skin as pale as the moon.
Vaelith pulled Robin forward, forcing the boy to straddle his armored thighs. Robin gasped as the cold scales of the elf's armor bit into the soft, bare skin of his inner thighs. Vaelith’s hands moved up, his long, elegant fingers tracing the delicate lines of Robin’s ribs before tangling in the boy’s waterfall of silver hair.
The Dark Elf crashed his lips against Robin’s. The kiss was violently passionate, tasting of dark berries and the metallic tang of shadow magic. Robin melted instantly. His arms looped around Vaelith’s neck, his small, soft body pressing desperately against the hard, unyielding form of the elf.
Intimacy with an Umbraqui Champion, the magical interface in Robin’s mind chimed. Shadow Affinity unlocked. Siphoning initiated.
Vaelith didn't just want physical pleasure; he wanted to dominate Robin’s essence. The elf laid Robin back against the cool stone of the mausoleum altar. Vaelith’s hands expertly explored every curve, squeezing the lush softness of Robin’s ass with a possessive, bruising grip that drew a sharp, high moan from the boy’s lips.
"You take the light so well," Vaelith whispered, his lips trailing down Robin’s throat, leaving a trail of icy, tingling sparks in his wake. "Let us see how you handle the dark."
When Vaelith took him, it was a shock to Robin’s entire system. It was a thick, relentless invasion of heat and pure, concentrated shadow. Robin arched his back off the altar, his eyes flying wide as a scream of pure, overwhelmed ecstasy tore from his throat. The black netting of his bodysuit stretched tight across his body as he thrashed.
"Take it," Vaelith commanded, his voice a dark rumble that vibrated through Robin’s core. The elf's thrusts were deep, punishing, and utterly perfectly angled, striking the deepest, most sensitive nerves of Robin's changed anatomy. "Draw it in. Let the shadow become your blood."
Robin couldn't form words. He was lost in a tempest of sensory overload. With every deep, driving thrust, Robin felt a cold, magnificent power flooding into his depleted mana pool. The Spellfire within him, usually a bright, burning gold, began to swirl with ribbons of deep, abyssal violet. He was being stretched, filled, and fundamentally altered.
He clawed at Vaelith’s broad shoulders, his hips snapping back to meet the elf’s frantic pace. Robin was sobbing now, tears of pure, unadulterated pleasure streaming down his porcelain cheeks. He loved the dominance. He loved being used as a conduit for such ancient, terrible power.
As the act reached its crescendo, Vaelith bit down hard on the sensitive juncture of Robin’s neck and shoulder. Robin cried out, his body going rigid as a blinding wave of dark euphoria crashed over him. He felt Vaelith’s potent, magical essence flood into him, a searing rush of heat that settled deep in his belly, instantly locking into his mana reserves.
Vaelith pulled back, panting softly, his molten violet eyes glowing in the darkness. He looked down at the beautiful, gasping femboy sprawled on the altar. Robin was a mess—his silver hair spread out like a halo, his chest heaving, his porcelain skin flushed with a deep, erotic heat and branded with the dark magical residue of their union.
"You are a terrifying creature, Robin," Vaelith said softly, tracing the bruised mark he had left on the boy's neck. The mark slowly shifted, forming into a small, intricate runic tattoo of a crescent moon eclipsed by a shadow. "You will be the end of this world, or its salvation."
Vaelith stood, adjusting his armor with effortless grace. "Tell your brute that the path to the east is blocked by a Gorgon's brood. Take the lower aqueducts. The shadows there will hide you now... for you carry my scent."
Without another word, the Dark Elf stepped backward, melting seamlessly into the darkness of the mausoleum as if he had never been there.
Minutes later, the violet flame of the campfire snapped back to a mundane orange. Kaelen gasped, sitting up abruptly, his hand immediately grasping for his sword. He looked frantically around the room until his eyes landed on Robin.
Robin was still lying on the altar, the black spider-silk lingerie practically glowing against his skin. He slowly sat up, a languid, wildly seductive smile playing on his lips. As he raised his hand, a flicker of pure, violet shadow-fire danced across his fingertips.
"Did you rest well, Kaelen?" Robin asked, his voice dripping with newfound, dark confidence.
Kaelen stared at the rune on Robin’s neck, the scent of elven magic thick in the air, and realized with a mix of dread and burning desire that his beautiful, delicate boy was absorbing the world piece by piece.
